Easy Easter promotional ideas

We know Easter can be a busy time in our business with many families getting together over a good meal.

Make the most of the opportunity by catering to everyone no matter what they’re age with these

five ideas:

1. Scavenger hunt

Turn the traditional Easter egg hunt into an adventure with a scavenger hunt. If your venue has an outdoor space this is a perfect way to let the adults relax while the young ones decipher clues in search of hidden treasure.

Don’t have time to come up with all the clues yourself? Check out Pinterest for stacks of great, ready-to-print ideas.

2. Donate to a good cause

Easter is a time to think of others and one of the best ways you can demonstrate your generosity is to open up your business for donations. Whether you’re donating part of your proceeds to a local charity or collecting goods to pass onto those affected by the recent bushfires, this is a way you can show your customers you care and encourage them to join in by dining with you.

3. Hold a hops fest

The kids shouldn’t be the only ones who have fun over Easter. Speak to some of your local craft brewers and create a menu that matches with their beer or offer tasting paddles so customers can sample their wares.

4. Get into the Easter spirit

With chocolate, eggs, fish and hot cross buns, Easter offers a fun opportunity to add some specials to your menu. You can go all out and offer an Easter menu or just add a few select dishes to tantalise the taste buds.

Prepare in advance with a cold roast salmon

Serve traditional hot cross buns with a twist

Switch up the classic poached egg and serve it shirred

5. Chocolate tasting

No one can resist chocolate so why not offer a chocolate tasting. You could pair it with different beverages or offer those with a sweet tooth the opportunity to try a range of delicious treats.
